CEO's Welcome

Generally the fewer the children in educational settings, the lower the risk that the virus will spread.  As a result we are asking our staff with children to remain at home. Our aim is to keep our provision as safe a place as possible.

Further advice is available for parents, here...

Closure of educational settings: information for parents and carers

If your work is critical to the COVID-19 response and you cannot keep your child safe at home then your children will be prioritised for a place in one of our schools. We can also offer more direct educational and social support to those children with particular needs.

Children eligible for free school meals will be issued with a supermarket food voucher which will be distributed by schools from Monday 23rd March.

I want to commend our staff, many of whom have offered to help support the provision in school, and all the teachers who will be keeping in touch with their classes and continuing to provide work online for the foreseeable future.

If parents need help during this period, please see school websites for details of people to contact. Please do not feel that you are alone, we are there working remotely to support you as best we can.

Each school has a slightly different approach to providing home learning and will stay in touch with parents about their expectations.  We will ensure that points of contact are clear so that parents are informed and supported as time goes on.

We all know that these are unprecedented times and it is essential that we work together to combat this disease and keep our families as safe as possible.

Thank you for your support.
