Clare Gartland

Clare spent over ten years working as a teacher and teacher trainer in Leicester and London. She has subsequently spent a number of years researching and evaluating ways to support progression in education; this has included working closely with the Royal Academy of Education on the development of outreach programmes with schools as well as other organisations including the Science and Learning Centre and Aimhigher. 

Having completed her PhD with the Institute of Education in 2012 she is now continuing her research based at UCS and teaching on the MA programmes in learning and teaching and childhood and youth studies.
