Castle Hill Infant and Junior's Project
After the Food Summit the students loved the smoothie bike- a bike that has a blender attached at the back so as the students peddle it blends the fruit- which has lead them to considering buying one for their school. This will help encourage students to eat more healthily as their efforts have helped produce the smoothie and is a good form of exercise.
They are also developing the Castle Hill Quesadillas as an exciting addition to the menu which they plan to serve on a Monday with the students vetoing Friday after careful consideration of the eating habits within the school.
Castle Hill found this to be important as they want to develop fun healthy methods to encourage others to eat or drink more healthy meals. They believe the smoothie bike and Castle Hill Quesadillas will be exciting and get students to be involved in moving towards healthier eating.
