The energy was buzzing with creativity and collaboration recently as ASSET Arrows from across all our ASSET schools gathered for a fantastic day of food-focused fun at Bungay Primary School. We were thrilled to be joined by the wonderful Charlotte and Andrea from Spring, who led an engaging and inspiring session on the art of logo design.
The children dived straight into the creative process, channeling their inner artists to design logos for their very own dream cereals. The results were truly impressive, with a fantastic range of imaginative ideas and colourful designs. The morning culminated in the exciting task of bringing these cereal visions to life by creating their very own cereal boxes.
After a lunch break spent enjoying the sunshine, we embarked on our next exciting project: the creation of our very own ASSET Cookbook! The children explored a variety of recipe books, sparking inspiration for the cookbook they wanted to create. Each school then worked on their own introductions to accompany their chosen recipes, ready to be collated into what promises to be a truly special ASSET Cookbook.
The day wasn't just about individual creations, however. All the ASSET Arrows are now embarking on a collaborative challenge: designing a name and logo for the ASSET school meal service. This exciting task will culminate in a grand reveal at our upcoming Food Project Showcase on Thursday, July 3rd, held at Hope Church, Ipswich.
We would like to invite you to join us for this special event! This is a fantastic opportunity to witness the incredible work of our ASSET Arrows firsthand. You'll have the chance to meet these inspiring children, hear all about their exciting food-related projects, and celebrate their hard work and achievements. The pupils themselves will be presenting their work to the audience, sharing their findings and highlighting the positive changes they are making within their schools and communities. Please let us know if you would like to join us by completing this form.
