The energy was buzzing with creativity and collaboration recently as ASSET Arrows from across all our ASSET schools gathered for a fantastic day of food-focused fun at Bungay Primary School. We were thrilled to be joined by the wonderful Charlotte and Andrea from Spring, who led an engaging and inspiring session on the art of logo design.
The children dived straight into the creative process, channelling their inner artists to design logos for their very own dream cereals. The results were truly impressive, with a fantastic range of imaginative ideas and colourful designs. The morning culminated in the exciting task of bringing these cereal visions to life by creating their very own cereal boxes.
After a lunch break spent enjoying the sunshine, we embarked on our next exciting project: the creation of our very own ASSET Cookbook! The children explored a variety of recipe books, sparking inspiration for the cookbook they wanted to create. Each school then worked on their own introductions to accompany their chosen recipes which can now be found in our ASSET Cookbook here.
The day wasn't just about individual creations, however. All the ASSET Arrows embarked on a collaborative challenge: designing a name and logo for the ASSET school meal service. This exciting task culminated in a grand reveal at our Food Project Showcase on Thursday, July 3rd, which was held at Hope Church, Ipswich.
After a few attempts at coming up with names the Arrows finally landed on the Lunch Hub and you can see their finished design down below.
