Stutton's Project
Stutton wants to sort out the amount of rubbish and food waste they have at school. They do not do any composting or any recycling at the moment and want everybody to know how important this is. To fix this they want to buy compost and recycling bins as well as making sure that food waste from lunchtime is used for compost for the vegetable beds and want rubbish to be recycled as much as possible.
They are also thinking that if there is any extra compost that they could sell it to the local community including parents in an attempt to encourage recycling at home.
Stutton finds this important as they waste a lot of food at school and do not recycle at lunchtimes which they feel they need to change. The bins should act as a way of making students more visually aware of recycling making them more likely to do it.
