Ringshall's Project
Ringshall identified the problem of children not liking vegetables as they didn't have the chance to try them without buying a meal. To combat this they wanted children to try more recipes and have planned a trip to the food museum. They have also focused on operations within the kitchen and have brought some new microwaves and ovens with their money.
They were also inspired by the Food Summit where cakes were made out of vegetables and are devised to do this with some cakes and soups on the current menu. Continuing with this theme of vegetables within cakes they also planned to do their own bake-off where cakes made out of vegetables are made for a competition.
Ringshall found this to be important as more children can learn about vegetables with this opportunity which should encourage them to be more experimental about trying vegetables.
