Waldringfield's Project
Waldringfield looked a lot at the sustainability and carbon footprint of foods. This led them to spend some of their money on a closer look at sustainability by going on a school trip to St Elizabeth’s Retail Centre. Here they learnt about the importance of sustainability and local sourcing in a new frame by applying it to clothes. Being able to apply this concept in multiple areas has greatened their understanding of sustainability and the importance of their choices.

They also surveyed the school to find out the barriers to children eating a school
meal at lunchtime. In order to get other students to try new fruit and vegetables they used the blender to make them into smoothies which have been very popular with everyone.
